The CCDI is looking for candidates to sit on the Board of the NPC and its 3 companies.
In terms of our Memorandum and Articles of Association, the NPC Board should comprise a diverse group of individuals with expertise and experience in:
- the craft, design, design education and manufacturing sectors; socio-economic and sustainable development; business and entrepreneurial education; urban, peri-urban and rural community development; public and private sector; policy development in the spheres of economic development, tourism, arts and culture; and any other specific expertise the Board may identify from time to time.
Our three companies require candidates with expertise in procurement, marketing, corporate training and investment finance and we are looking for individuals with good networks and experience in the private sector.
INVITATION & PROCESS
Individuals and organisations within the broad creative industries and related sectors in South Africa are invited to submit nominations for individuals who have one or a combination of the above experience and/or skills in the available categories.
No previous Board experience is necessary, however individuals need to be motivated and committed to actively engage in meetings and preparation; willing to represent the interests of the sector as a whole and not their own needs; and have a sound understanding of the priorities and mandate of the CCDI.
It should be noted that CCDI Board members do not receive any remuneration.

CCDI CAPITAL is a vehicle created to provide funding to emerging and growing entrepreneurs within the creative and design sector. It seeks to provide BEE points to private sector funders on the fundraising side, and empowerment funding to beneficiaries on the recipient side.
CCDI CREATIVE is a training academy that provides skills training to corporate South Africa, and the public sector, in the fields of creative and design thinking to enhance team work, collaboration, problem-solving and innovation in the work place. We aim to upskill talents pool at functional and management levels by unlocking the creative, problem-solving and strategic thinking in each person.
CCDI CONNECT is a procurement company that aims to source the best quality products for corporate and public sector clients across South Africa. We do this by providing our clients with uniquely South African products drawn from a database of pre-qualified South African creative businesses specialising in decorative and functional ware created on a sustainable basis and delivered within budget constraints and on-time and quality managed.
