SARCDA Xmas – Trade Exhibition
SARCDA started off as a Pharmacy Exhibition in the 1960's, when pharmacies ventured into the gift-line. SARCDA is an acronym for the South African Retail and Chemists Druggist Association. It is now an independent trade name offering fully-fledged Gift, Toy and Décor Trade Exhibitions to service the needs of the entire retail, gift, toy and décor industries. On average 10000 buyers visit the show over a 4 period.

SARCDA now holds 2 Trade Exhibitions annually
- SARCDA International - Held at Gallagher Convention Center, Gauteng, in March
- SARCDA Christmas - Held at Gallagher Convention Center, Gauteng, in August
SARCDA Rules & Regulations
The following applies to all exhibitors and buyers taking part in SARCDA Trade Exhibitions:
- ONLY Trade visitors will be allowed into the exhibition halls
- NO members of the public will be allowed into the exhibition halls.
- NO children under 16 will be allowed into the exhibition halls ( proof of age must be provided )
- NO infants (not even babies carried in papooses) will be allowed in the exhibition halls.
- NO prams will be allowed in the exhibition halls.
- NO pets will be allowed in the exhibition halls.
- NO selling off stands or removal of stock (including samples) from stands will be permitted – SARCDA is strictly a Trade Exhibition and only orders are to be placed.
- Orders to be collected must be arranged for after trading hours of the Exhibition.
CCDI Criteria
- Successful participants will need to travel to JHB in August.
- Successful participants will need to ensure that they have wholesale pricelist & brochures.
- Successful participants will be required to sign an MOU with CCDI
Participation Fees
- 1st Participation Cost for SARCDA Xmas R2000.00, subject to selection.
- 2nd Participation in SARCDA Xmas R2500.00, subject to selection.
- CCDI will cover the cost of flights, accommodation & courier & stand costs for the event.
